The protection of your personal data is important. Where we have to process your data we do that on a lawful basis (GDPR, Austrian DSG 2018). In this privacy policy we give information on the data processing on this website.
Server
The site is hosted by a German hosting provider. Our servers are all located within the EU (Germany, Finland). For system abuse prevention we log your IP address and user agent as soon as your request reaches our edge node. The processed data is only used for technical issues (e.g. blocking of malicious users), not distributed to third parties and being deleted after 14 days. This processing is done on behalf of GDPR art 6 par 1 lit f (legitimate interest).
Contacting Us
If you contact us via e-mail your data is saved on our side to process your request and for follow-up inquiries. We do not distribute this data without your consent. We use an e-mail provider with strong privacy focus located in Germany.
Cookies
We currently do not save any cookies.
Web Analytics
This website uses functionality of the analytics service Matomo. This service enables us to analyze how users interact with this website. The created data are transmitted to one of our servers and saved there. Your data is not transmitted to third parties. You can opt-out of processing by using the “DoNotTrack” setting in your browser or block the analytics script by using one of the many ad blockers.
Your IP address is processed but it is anonymized immediately (by deleting the last 16 bit on IPv4 and deleting the last 32 bit on IPv6). With that the address can no longer be correlated to individual internet customers.
This processing is done on behalf of GDPR art 6 par 1 lit f (legitimate interest).
Our legitimate interest is the improvement of our website. Usage data helps us to decide which content is relevant for our users. Because the privacy of our users is important we use a self-hosted analytics service and are anonymizing the IP addresses.
The processed data is retained for 6 months and is deleted afterwards. After that only aggregate statistics are present in our system which cannot be correlated to individual users.
Your Rights
You can exercise the following rights on your processed data: information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that our data processing does violate data protection rights or does violate your rights in data protection in any other way you are entitled to raise a complaint with the supervisory authority. In our case this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
You can contact us via the contact data detailed within the imprint.
